CGC Media Company is a full-service agency specializing in managing, marketing, and media portfolios for rural business customers.
CGC Media serves a wide variety of customers but we have a very special focus in the areas of: Rural Lifestyle/Travel, Outdoor Recreation and Agriculture.
The rural community is full of its own unique challenges and opportunities. Most rural business owners are passionate about what they do, but often don’t have the time or resources to effectively tell their story and gain new customers. Stopping the tractor at the section fence and talking to your neighbor used to be a great way to get the word out but is not quite as effective in today’s world. Finding new customers in the clutter of the modern-day world can still be as easy as putting out a “hanging road side sign”, it is just a matter of where that sign hangs in today’s terms. Whether you need radio or television advertising, print work for a glossy magazine spread, a postcard mailing campaign or a full-scale newsletter or a true “web experience” with social media hype to engage your business online. We offer everything from the ground up. That is where the team at CGC Media comes in. As passionate rural living people ourselves, we are excited to bring our over 25+ years of combined experience to your rural venture and assist you in sharing your story and finding more customers to share that story with you!

As a rural marketing executive with over two decades of experience in all facets of advertising, public relations, event and sales management, Deborah Gould brings a wealth of experience to the customers of CGC. Through a combination of marketing strategies and creative thinking, she has worked with clients from small remote wilderness lodges to large health care providers to successfully find new creative ways to tell their own personal stories and create strategies to keep their businesses relevant in today’s changing world.
In her own words:
“It’s all about the stories”…stories of each individual business and stories that are created with everyone I meet. As a member of a rural community, marketing manager, corporate account executive, horsewoman and Registered Maine Guide it has not only taken me on many interesting journey’s in life (ever walked into a raspberry patch only to find you are sharing it with a black bear?); it has allowed me find creative ways to help others tell their unique stories. I love to sit over coffee and listen, learn and then jump right into helping my clients tell their stories in a way that connects them with customers. You don’t have to have a black bear in the raspberry patch to have an interesting story, you just need to be passionate about what you do, and I will be there at your side finding a way to tell the world about it!
